Man of Tai Chi tells about the life of a young fighter who is faced with a number of occasions and painful choices. Tiger Chen, who also collaborated with Reeves in the movie The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolution rumored to be a main actor in this movie. Unfortunately, there has been no further information about the story and plot of the movie is scheduled to be releases in 2013.


Currently, Reeves was in China to prepare for shooting Man of Tai Chi which will be conducted in two languages, Mandarin and English. The film is rumored to start production in February 2012. Business partner Village Roadshow Asia, China Film Group, has been officially appointed as the distributor of the film Man of Tai Chi in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, while Wanda Media Group is responsible for distribution in China and Universal Studios in other states.

After playing the character of Neo in The Matrix trilogy, Keanu Reeves will return to work with Village Roadshow, which funded the film with Warner Bros.. This time Reeves will play a role in an action movie that takes place in the plains of China. The film, titled "Man of Tai Chi" is not only marks the return of Reeves into the world of martial arts action movies, but also will become the first film directed by this 47-year-old man.
