Which gamers doesn't know Resident Evil? Survival horror game from Capcom is indeed evolving into a legendary franchise. Unfortunately, along with the journey that has now entered many series, Resident Evil was more known as a third person shooter game with a strong action element. This further strengthened with a few titles that Capcom will announce in the future. One of them? Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
Resident Evil: Raccoon City arguably is a spin off of RE game and quite unique. Unlike the previous series, gamers will now be brought to the gameplay with more team-based. Like other games, Team Fortress, Brink, or Borderland, each character within the team will have the classes and their respective functions. Uniquely, you now will play Umbrella's elite teams that you fight during the previous Resident Evil series. The ultimate goal? Kill the main characters of Resident Evil games, including Leon Kennedy.
Release Date
After long waited, Capcom finally announced the official release date of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. XBOX 360 and Playstation 3, and (eventually) you also, PC Gamer, be sure not miss this game next March 20, 2012. In the same occasion, Capcom also set the official release date for the latest hack and slash, Asura's Wrath, which will be launched next year February 21, 2012.
