Okay. The trip is about to begin. We are packed (almost, I'm your typical procrastinator) and ready to go (almost, I reiterate the procrastination part). We leave tomorrow morning approximately at 6 AM, a dreadful time for somebody to crawl out of bed. You see, I said we LEAVE at 6 AM, so I'm going to have to drag my butt out a lot earlier, just to make sure that I haven't left any of my procrastination behind. There's the breakfast to get in before we take off, probably a healthy 'eat clean' smoothie and I'll choke on the berry skin (and possibly seeds) that I haven't picked out because I figured I could do it another day. There's also the several trips to the potty before we head out, just so we don't have to pull over to the closest gas station, which is just around the corner from the house. Procrastination is going to be the death of me on this trip. Never mind the screaming kidlet, the overheating husband and all the junk that we've managed to cram into the van (and on top of). I keep thinking... if we just leave tomorrow. If we just leave the day after. What about next week sometime? NO! I have to go home now. It's about time I slept in my own bed (we'll have to buy one when we get back because Bram had this fight with our mattress and won), to get back to the television stations that we know, to the slowest internet service I've ever encountered (maybe it's also procrastinating).
Will I be able to post a blog about our trip on the way back? I'm not sure, but I'm going to try. I know how to work a computer well enough to get the internet going, even if there is not one available. Except in the backyard here, but I'll work on that tomorrow.
Until we get to our first destination night stop in Canmore;
Mel.
P.S. I'll add a photo to go along with this... tomorrow.
